Reading Rowing Club, formed in 1867, is a well-established and successful Rowing Club. Our boathouse is situated on one of the best stretches of river in the UK, next to Caversham bridge on the river Thames.

With a membership of almost 300, our squads, including veterans, men, women and juniors, compete at local, national and international level. In 2006 and 2007, we have had winning and finalist athletes at Henley Women's Regatta, medalists at the National Championships, and representatives for Scotland, England and Great Britain. We are extremely proud that some of our most successful athletes have learned to row at the club, from novice level.

The club is active in the local community, supporting important local events such as the Reading Half Marathon and Reading Amateur Regatta, as well as fund-raising for various charities throughout the year.

Reading Rowing Club always welcomes new members of all ages and abilities. To contact the club, please visit the club website at www.readingrc.org.
