Team building with a difference
The Reading Corporate 8s Challenge is a course in team building with a difference. Training runs over two months, leading up to a special one-day Regatta in September.
The programme is designed for people completely new to rowing, and enables everyone to shine, whatever your previous level of fitness.
Away from the pressures and distractions of the office, your crew has the opportunity to work together, challenge and motivate eachother, learn new skills, and build a relationship of trust, support and commitment. The programme also provides a brilliant way to have fun and get fit over the summer!
What you get in the package
Included in your package is full use of the Reading RC facilities (for the duration of the two month programme), a tailored fitness programme, supervised land training sessions, and four, two hour long water sessions, with a dedicated ARA certified coach.
Networking with other businesses
Training and race day provide an opportunity to meet and share ideas with like-minded professionals from other companies in the area. We have entries each year from some of the largest most influential organisations, and also smaller local businesses. It's the perfect opportunity to challenge the giants!

In 2006, we had entries from BTiNet, Microsoft, Pepsi co, BBC, Accurate Software, Thames Water, and Redwood Technologies.
