Reading Rowing Club is committed to member safety. It follows all British Rowing and EA guidelines and has introduced a number of its own safety practices to ensure that all members are safe when out on the water.
All members, and all those who boat from RRC, are required to read and observe the Safety Guidelines (below) and the associated Safety Documents.
Members who are new to the club will also be asked to attend an initial safety briefing before going on the water. This will be arranged through the coach of the squad you are joining. You will also be asked to complete a capsize drill once you've become a member, which will be arranged through the Safety Advisor.
All the details regarding your safety requirements will be provided by your Vice-Captain or coach when you join the club.
